We're so glad you're thinking about doing an Imagine Mars Project.

Imagine Mars project leaders are teachers, out-of-school activity leaders, librarians, artists, community organizers, extra-curricular organization leaders and more. They lead groups of students in kindergarten through 12th grade in individual classrooms, or in mixed-grade teams. Student teams may have two members or two hundred. It's up to you!

Here's how it works:
FIRST:   Get an indepth understanding of the Imagine Mars Project

NEXT:   Get ideas for your group's project.

  • Get quick ideas from around the nation in the Ideas section
  • Explore the Project Gallery
THEN:   Design your project

  • Learn about Mars in the Mars Info section
  • Choose activities for each step; Reflect, Discover, Imagine, Create and Share.
  • Supplement your project with Mars resources in the Student Discover section
  • Contact the Imagine Mars team for support, ideas and connections with experts.
FINALLY:   Implement and share your completed project.

  • Guide your students to build a community on Mars!
  • Share your students' work with the community
  • Upload your students' project to the Project Gallery
