During late December 2025 and January 2026, Mars and Earth are on opposite sides of the Sun, blocking radio communications between them. Perseverance will resume sending raw images in late January. Watch video on Mars solar conjunction

Mars Perseverance Sol 1337: Right Mastcam-Z Camera
NASA's Mars Perseverance rover acquired this image using its Right Mastcam-Z camera. Mastcam-Z is a pair of cameras located high on the rover's mast.
This image was acquired on Nov. 23, 2024 (Sol 1337) at the local mean solar time of 13:25:35.
