FIDO Ends Its Mission…

On this final sol of the nominal mission, FIDO was commanded to
remain stationary and acquire additional remote sensing data using its
mast mounted instruments. The RAT attempt on "black lab"
was successful as revealed in a front Hazcam image showing an abraded
portion of the rock surface surrounded by a ring of dust resulting from
the RAT's work. FIDO was also commanded to perform in situ
measurements on targets designated at the exposed area of the rock
and on the surrounding dust ring. The final commands made use of all of
the arm-mounted instruments.
