Educators participate in a teacher's workshop on March 10, 2018, at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.

InSight (Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations, Geodesy and Heat Transport) is the first mission dedicated to studying the interior of Mars. Mission events offer several opportunities for educators to engage with students in the classroom, in museums and in after-school programs. NASA’s Mars Public Engagement team as partnered with the Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS) to develop a variety of education and public engagement products related to seismology on terrestrial planets. The IRIS Data Management Center will provide public access to the seismic data collected on Mars.
