Cindy Oda (middle left) stood up to share her experience working with NASA’s Opportunity rover during a team meeting in Mission Control at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. Scientists and engineers who had worked on the rover over the 14-plus years of operation gathered to talk about the last attempts to listen for the rover’s signal from Mars on Feb. 12, 2019 and to impart what the mission meant to them.
