Go to Mars with MAVEN

On May 1, 2013, followers of the NASA MAVEN mission can begin entering their names to be placed on a specially designed DVD that will accompany the spacecraft on its journey to Mars this November.

On May 1, 2013, followers of the NASA MAVEN mission can begin entering their names to be placed on a specially designed DVD that will accompany the spacecraft on its journey to Mars this November.

Each participant can also create a unique message, which will be voted on by the public for a chance to be included on the DVD. The top five messages will be burned onto the disc, which will be adorned with the winning piece of student artwork from a worldwide contest held earlier in the campaign.
