Madelyne J. Pfeiffer is a clinical social worker who has provided counseling services and program oversight to adolescent, families and seniors. Her experience ranges from counseling in residential group homes for adolescents to providing services in adult day health centers. Ms. Pfeiffer also has a background in program creation and implementation.

Ms. Pfeiffer joined Communities Advocating For Resident Empowerment (C.A.R.E.), as Vice President. CARE is a California non-profit charitable corporation dedicated to providing comprehensive social services to low and moderate income residents living at affordable housing communities.

This 501 (c) 3 organization was created to provide children, youth, families and seniors living in affordable housing communities with services and programs that reinforce self-empowerment, foster economic independence and encourage community involvement. CARE provides consistent, high quality, multifaceted social services and staffing by seeking funding from a broad array of public and private sources.

As Vice President, Ms. Pfeiffer oversees and manages resident service programs. She supervises on-site service coordinators and volunteers, as well as, local third party agencies. In addition, Ms. Pfeiffer is actively involved in fund development and partnership expansion.

She holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC), and earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Psychology and Art from Claremont McKenna College.

Ms. Pfeiffer is a member of numerous committees that focus on improving the system of care for youth and families in the counties of San Diego and Orange. She was recently elected as San Diego Foundation For Change - Chairperson to the Human Resources Committee. Ms. Pfeiffer also holds the title of Vice President of the HUD California Neighborhood Networks Consortia.
